The Boker Kalashnikov knife features powder coated aluminum handle with molded finger grips and a tip-up carry pocket clip. The design embodies its inspirations, the AK-47 and AKM: it is thin, light, precise, elegant and comfortable. It has a tip-up pocket clip for easy carry. Most blades are AUS 8 stainless steel (similar to the 440C stainless steel), a softer but more durable steel that holds a finer edge than most stainless steel in its class and is easier to sharpen. Boker uses the 440C stainless steel for some of their blades in the Kalashnikov knife line and on occasion the 7CR17MoV stainless steel. The Kalashnikov comes in a box shaped like an AK-47 magazine. The knife does not come with a sheath.
Kalashnikov knives are manufactured by either Boker Knives or Boker Plus. Boker Knives manufacture knives in Solingen, Germany. Boker Plus manufacture knives in Taiwan and China.
Some of the models come in a smaller size under the name of “Mini Kalashnikov”. Many of the folding models can be converted into automatic knives.
Please look into your US state or country laws regarding automatic knives. Many countries and US States outlaw automatic knife possession.
